Heute Abend bin ich in meinem Wohnzimmer in eine Modeschau geraten. Die Kastanien haben die Herbstkollektion der aktuellen Hutmode vorgeführt. Très chic!

Tonight I suddenly ended up in a fashion show in my living room. The chestnuts were walking the catwalk sporting the latest hats from fall season. Très chic!

(Ich war heute in einer Ausstellung über Salvador Dali. Zwar bin ich seit jeher kein wirklicher Fan seiner Arbeiten, aber inspiriert hat er mich hierfür dann doch. Was ich sehr nett finde.)

Das Thema des heutigen Illustration Friday ist „ferocious“.

The theme for today’s Illustration Friday is „ferocious“.

Sogar Astronautinnen haben mal klein angefangen. (So wie ich mit Be Creative. Nur noch 100 Tage bis zum Ende des Projekts. Woah.)

Even Astronauts are starting out small. (As I did with Be Creative. Only 100 days to go until the end of this project. Woah.)

Manchmal brauchen auch Feen eine Pause. Für den Fall dass ihr auf der Stelle ein Wunder braucht: Ruhig bleiben und weitermachen. Wunder dauern eben ein wenig.

Sometimes even fairies need a break. If you are in need for a wonder a.s.a.p. just keep calm and carry on. Miracles will take some time.

Heute war ich unglaublich langsam. Fast so langsam wie eine Schildkröte. Andererseits sind Schildkröten ja sehr weise, sagt man. Das gibt mir etwas Hoffnung.

I felt extremely slow today. Almost as slow as a tortoise. On the other hand tortoises are said to be very wise creatures. That gives me a bit of hope.

Heute war wohl wirklich der letzte schöne Sommertag (siehe Foto ganz unten). Nachdem ich mir heute Mittag noch bei 27 Grad einen kleinen Sonnenbrand geholt habe stürmt jetzt am Abend vor meinen Fenstern der Regen und es ist fast 15 Grad kälter. Außerdem habe ich heute die ersten Kastanien gefunden. Sie wollen mir einreden dass der Herbst nicht so schlecht ist wie sein Ruf. Ich bleibe skeptisch.

Today was really the last day of summer (as you can see on the photo at the bottom). While I got a little sunburn at 27°C at noon I can hear the rain tapping at my windows and the temperature has dropped to 12°C. Also I have found the first chestnuts today. They are telling me that fall is not that bad after all. Well, I am having some doubts about that.
